Similar to the platform concept from the automotive industry, the HOLOPOD is the perfect coupling between a supporting technical base and an elevated cabin, providing the whole gamut of living functions right at the center of your room.

Modularity

The HOLOPOD has a modular design allowing it be fitted with different cabins, each reflecting a particular lifestyle: single, as a couple or a small family, working from home or elsewhere, even short-stay vacations.

Furniture On-Demand

You can’t use all your furniture at the same time, and so most of it ends up sitting unused much of the day. Besides being a waste of money, they essentially become obstacles to your daily routines in smaller spaces.

With this in mind, we designed the three most space-wasting furniture pieces –the bed, the sofa and the dining table– to be fully stored and hidden until needed, ready to be pulled out in a matter of seconds and with little effort.

DINE

Draw the table towards you and its top is simply pulled up in a single movement. There’s no need to look for chairs in storage and unfold them one by one, since they are fully integrated into the table unit.

RELAX

Suspended in its overhead storage compartment during most of the day, a counterweight-assisted pull motion will move the sofa down to the floor when additional seats are required.

SLEEP

The bed can be pulled out like a drawer. Bed sheets and pillows are conveniently stored inside a hidden storage compartment at the head-end of the bed.

Work tops

There’s always a need for more working space, be it for preparing food, charging or using electronics or just to quickly drop your groceries before stowing them away.

Storage

Storage capacity is considered as one of the highest valued requirements for micro-living, so we made sure every last nook and cranny has been put to good use.

While on one side of the HOLOPOD you’ll find a number of open shelves and drawers, which can become an extension of an opposing kitchen, its other side can house a spacious wardrobe or even a kitchen.

The Cabin

Your personal space for retreat, a “room-in-a-room”.

Fitting an extra room inside a 25m² studio apartment has been something unimaginable – until now. In fact, we can make it possible for spaces as small as 16m²! This elevated cabin makes excellent use of the wasted upper reaches of your home without sacrificing functionality and comfort.

Access

Access to the cabin is provided through a flush-fitted door, with a generous landing below it to make for easy entry and egress. In addition, this creates a spacious under-floor storage for heavy or cumbersome items like a vacuum cleaner, ironing board or suitcases.

The landing can be fully flipped up for easy passage during housekeeping or maintenance.
